CPD and Work Experience
Brianna is committed to providing her clients with the highest level of care. Over several years she has worked hard to enhance her skills, by volunteering and shadowing a number of paraprofessionals who specialise in small animal and equine veterinary practice. Additionally, she has attended various webinars, CPD courses, and information evenings to further her knowledge and provide a reliable evidence based service.
Equine Experience
Brianna is a professional Veterinary Physiotherapist with extensive hands-on experience working with horses. She has looked after four competition horses of her own, shadowed mobile veterinary physiotherapists, attended work experience at Galley Hill equine hospital, and volunteered at numerous livery yards to widen her equine husbandry skills. These experiences allow her to apply her wealth of knowledge in practice.
Canine Experience
Brianna has also completed work experience in small animal veterinary practices, where she witnessed first hand rehabilitation in a clinical setting. She is also has years of experience from treating canine patients as a part of the canine physiotherapy unit at university. Her priority is to make each visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
Competition experience
Brianna specialises in sports therapy, rehabilitation and injury prevention. She has experience in show jumping up to 1.30m and works very closely with paraprofessionals to ensure the utmost care for her horses.
Additionally, Brianna has experience producing young horses and ponies for sales and competition, and regularly attends events such as Hickstead, the Blue Chip championships and the British Showjumping Nationals.
